Maguire’s late header ends Man United Anfield drought as Liverpool’s crisis deepens

However, United weren’t done. With six minutes remaining, Maguire rose highest to meet a pinpoint delivery and powered a header past Mamardashvili, silencing The Kop and sealing a memorable victory.

New Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens also impressed for United, notably denying Alexander Isak in a one-on-one situation.
