In the Kwara neighborhood, two people were apprehended for stealing solar panels.

In Kwara State’s isolated town of Jonwuron Kparu, which is part of Yashikiru Emirate, two individuals have been taken into custody for stealing and damaging solar panels.

It was discovered that an NGO had donated and set up the solar panels to supply the village with water.

On Saturday, September, the culprits were apprehended and paraded through the neighborhood before being restrained as punishment.

A source said on Facebook that “these desperate, callous individuals chose to take these panels while breaking two in the process of removal, despite the fact that this is the only power source of the pump giving water to the people.”
