Selena Gomez weds Benny Blanco in California
US pop star and actress Selena Gomez has tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco in an intimate yet star-studded ceremony held in Santa Barbara, California.
he 33-year-old singer shared photos on Instagram of herself in a white halter-neck wedding gown, while Blanco, 37, looked dashing in a dark tuxedo.
She captioned the post simply with the date “9.27.25” surrounded by love hearts.
Famous faces among 170 guests
According to Vogue, the couple exchanged vows in front of about 170 guests, including Gomez’s close friend Taylor Swift, actor Paul Rudd, and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Blanco responded to his wife’s post with the touching comment, “My wife in real life.”
A love rooted in music
Careers that shaped a generation Gomez and Blanco, who got engaged in December 2024 after a year of dating, had long shared creative chemistry. Their joint album, I Said I Love You First, released in March 2025, traced the arc of their own love story. They had previously collaborated on the hit songs Same Old Love and Kill Em with Kindness in 2015, as well as the 2019 single I Can not Get Enough with Tainy and J Balvin. Gomez first became well-known as the star of Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place before becoming a chart-topping musician and acclaimed actress, most recently playing Jessica Del Monte in the movie Emilia Perez. Blanco, on the other hand, is well-known for producing records for international stars like Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Kesha. His only solo album, Friends Keep Secrets, was released in 2018.

He is simply my person.”
