Lady who was mocked for being a cleaner graduate as 3rd best student with 4.94 CGPA
After telling how she went from being a cleaner to graduating as one of the top students in her class, a young Nigerian woman has won hearts online.
She disclosed that a coworker had once made fun of her for posting images of herself in her cleaner’s outfit with pride.
But she remained committed to her objectives in spite of the mockery. She finished with an impressive 4.943 CGPA, placing third overall in her department and only 0.001 points behind the second-best student, demonstrating that her dedication paid off.
She wrote the following in her X (formerly Twitter) post:
I am quoting this once more to express my gratitude to all of the wonderful people who helped make this post possible. Thank you so much to all of you. I am happy to report that I placed third overall with a CGPA of 4.943, only 0.001 points behind the second place finisher! I hope I have made everyone proud.
Social media users have been moved by her transformation from a cleaner to one of her department’s most brilliant thinkers.

Students burst into a derisive laughter as their lecturer gets stuck while solving an equation in class.
The video was seen trending on the video-sharing platform TikTok.
Lecturer gets confused
The lecturer who was seen dressed in his lab coat was spotted solving an equation on the whiteboard in class.
However, he got stuck at some point, prompting him to pause and survey what he had done so far.
Apparently, he had realised that he was doing the wrong thing and paused to see where it had gone wrong.
Students break into laughter
The students, realising that their lecturer was stuck, burst into a mocking laughter at their lecturers inability to solve his equations.
However, the lecturer cleaned off a portion of his writing on the board, but seemed to get even more confused.

According to reports, FG refuses to fund a 15-year-old student who qualified for the Chinese Math Olympiad with a flawless SAT score.
According to reports, 15-year-old Agbo Adoga, a Nigerian boy who qualified to represent his country in the International Mathematics Olympiad in China after receiving a perfect score on the SAT, has not received support from the Federal Government.
Agbo’s school, Graceland International School in Port Harcourt, said that the Ministry of Education claimed it lacked the resources to support any competitors, according to education advocate Alex Onyia.

Onyia bemoaned the event, calling it just another squandered chance for Nigeria to demonstrate its academic prowess internationally.
He added that since Agbo will be formally representing Nigeria in the tournament, individual or private sponsorship was not allowed.
According to reports, the young prodigy’s parents said they would have been willing to pay for the trip but were unable to do so because of ministry rules.
“Graceland International School, PortHarcourt just informed me that Agbo Adoga qualified to represent Nigeria in international Maths Olympiad in China.
Nigerian Ministry of Education said they don’t have money to sponsor anybody.
So he will not attend.
Nigeria lost again!” Alex Onyia wrote.
When asked whether individuals cannot contribute, Onyia wrote:
“Unfortunately, it must come from the Federal Ministry of Education. He will be flying the Nigerian flag at the global stage alongside students from all other countries in the world.
Individual sponsorship is not allowed. The parents would have happily done that.”
