I saw text message of my husband’s side chick demanding N19,000 for one round of s3x – Divorce seeking pregnant woman tells court

A pregnant woman, Rebecca Maela, has dragged her 40-year-old husband, Elisha Silungwe, to court in Lusaka, Zambia, praying for divorce over alleged infidelity.
30-year-old Rebeca, a beauty therapist from Matero East, said she had his phone with her when a message came from his side chick, demanding an increased amount for a round of s3x.
According to Zambia Observer, Rebecca stated that she found messages from a female contact saved in her husband’s phone, boldly demanding that Elisha should stop showing up with pocket change and start paying K300 (N19,000) per round, or risk never seeing her again
Rebecca lamented that her husband seems to hold a PhD in chasing anything in a skirt, with zero regard for age, dignity or commitment.
“Four days ago, I found a text from a lady and responded pretending to be my husband. The lady started complaining that he only calls her whenever he wants good s3x and started demanding that he pay k300 per round of s3x,” Rebecca said.
“But whenever it’s time to pay bills, my husband does not pay on time. The only thing he is good at is buying mealie-meal because he loves nshima.”
She also stated that Elisha has never supported her financially.
According to her, he has never given her even a coin for her hair or lotion and now, despite being heavily pregnant and facing complications, he still shows no sign of concern.
“I am tired of this marriage. I would rather be pregnant and happy than stay with someone and end up regretting it.”
Rebecca told the Matero Local Court that she has had enough of her husband’s atrocities and was ready to end their marriage and move on with her life.
In his defense, Elisha flatly dismissed accusations of infidelity brought against him, refusing to accept the dissolution of his marriage.
“My wife is short-tempered and likes proving me wrong in most cases. And as for those messages, I don’t even know that girl she was chatting with,” he said.
And in his ruling, the senior magistrate, Lewis Mumba, noted that Rebecca’s emotions were high, and reminded the couple of the true essence of marriage.
“I understand you are pregnant and probably that’s why you seem emotional. Marriage is a union that should bring happiness, not misery. I am not concluding this matter today. I will give you a few days to attempt reconciliation. However, if nothing changes, I shall grant you a divorce,” he stated.
The matter was adjourned.

I almost had an issue with one grown man who tried the same nonsense this girl did. I honestly wish I slapped sense into him the way my brother reset this girl’s brain.”
