“Afrobeats stars are just ambassadors, God can take it away” – Tiwa Savage
Nigerian Afrobeats artist Tiwa Savage has advised her fellow musicians to maintain their modesty in the face of their growing success and notoriety.
The singer clarified that musicians are merely representatives of the Afrobeats movement and that their goals should never be overshadowed by pride. If people do not stay grounded, God can easily replace them, she said.
“We are just ambassadors, we are just like the faces of Afrobeats,” Savage said in a cautionary note. “And that is why we can not let it get into our heads because we are just vessels and there can be somebody else. God can take it away like that. So, you have to be grounded. You have to be humble.” Savage further stated that the idea of losing fame after experiencing it would be devastating. “Imagine, coming this far and then falling. That is worse than not ever tasting fame. I would rather have never seen in my life than seen and lose my sight,” she said.
Savage emphasized that humility is a means of honoring God as well as being crucial for success.

“I love Ayra Starr, it is like an obsession,” she said, describing her as fearless and unrepentant. She reminds me of myself, but she exudes confidence. When I was just starting out, I might wear pants the next time I saw an article saying that my skirt was too short. However, the next time, Ayra would wear a shorter skirt. I adore her self-assurance.
The singer stated on Tems that she liked her enigmatic image and that her choice to maintain a low profile makes her unique.
She also praised Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz for bringing his community to the attention of the world’s music industry and for his exceptional talent.

Addressing claims about child support, Sophia stated:
“I haven’t received any child support from Davido, but our child knows no lack. She is growing in a safe and loving environment and is very happy.”

He argued that Mr Jollof acted out of self-defense, adding that anyone in his position would have fought back with equal force.

Burna Boy sets record as first Nigerian artist with five Grammy album nominations
Burna Boy, a.k.a. Afro-fusion superstar Damini Ogulu, has accomplished yet another incredible accomplishment.
